Author & Public Speaker
Bolaji Oyejibe is a good friend who does great work to benefit children all over the world. I have had the honor to help prepare him for a United Nations-sponsored tour to Africa and the Caribbean, in terms of cross cultural communication and cultural immersion. I fully support his work and dedication to help empower children with self-esteem and other problematic issues.
Author Bolaji Oyejibe's book series called Brave Young Heroes features underdog kids, who’ve been told they aren’t good enough because of conditions like autism, anxiety, asthma, dyslexia, obesity, OCD, stuttering, shyness, and more. They range from as far and wide as Argentina, Egypt, England, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Japan, Mexico, and the United States.
Called “Brave Young Heroes,” the books feature underdog kids who overcome conditions such as autism, anxiety, asthma, dyslexia, homelessness and obesity. Oyejide, who lives in Raleigh, has written roughly 50 books over the past seven years and self-publishes them through Amazon. He estimates that he’s reached about 200,000 elementary and middle school-age kids.
“They all feature kid superheroes who have to overcome some adversity that makes them feel less than,” Oyejide said.
